Join the Stewardship
For more than 75 years, the coral trees have given San Vicente Boulevard its unmistakable character. Their future now depends on an informed and engaged community.
Every Neighbor Makes a Difference
Protecting a historic urban forest requires more than arborists and public agencies. It requires residents who pay attention, document changing conditions, report broken irrigation and tree damage, participate in community care and speak up when the canopy is threatened.
Whether you can volunteer for an afternoon, share a photograph or memory, support professional care or simply help spread the word, there is a meaningful place for you in this effort.
Join a Community Care Day
Help with mulching, weeding, litter removal and photographic documentation of tree conditions. No special experience is necessary - just enthusiasm, sturdy shoes, gardening gloves and a willingness to help.
Report a Concern
Have you noticed broken irrigation, sudden leaf loss, damaged bark, a fallen limb or another troubling change? Send us the location, a description and, if possible, a photograph. We can document the concern and help bring it to the attention of the responsible public agency.
Share the Story
Tell your neighbors about the history and importance of the coral tree corridor. Share our updates, photographs and research through social media and community networks. Public awareness is essential to securing lasting protection.
Support the Work
Community support helps fund independent arborist consultations, approved watering and soil care, historical research, educational outreach and the campaign for historic recognition of the complete corridor.
